

Conversion Tab
The Conversion tab contains all parameters used for converting the file. All fields are explained below:
- Convert file from / to EBCDIC - EBCDIC is a character set for Mainframes like ASCII is used for PC's and Unix servers. EBCDIC does also not know end of line characters like ASCII does. Since Daimler AG uses lot's of mainframes, often EBCDIC must be delivered. The conversion to EBCDIC takes always place 'just in time'.
- Uppercase chracters only - Tick when the file needs to be send in uppercase characters only.
- Rem trailing blancs - Tick when you want to remove trailing blancs.
- Fixed record lenght - Enter the fixed record lenght when necessary.
- CR-LF instead of LF - Tick when you want to have a Cairrage Line Feat instead of a normal Line Feat.
- Special converion - Select from table if you want to use a special conversion.
- Country Specific header - Tick when you want to use a Country Specific header.
- Procedure type - Enter a procedure type when necessary.
- Sender code dealer - Enter dealercode when you want to send it.
