UVS-In parameters

The UVS-In (Used Vehicle Suite Interface) parameters are used to define the settings for the UVS-In export.

UVS-In Parameters Form

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse to Sales > UVS-In parameters > [no. Company name] on the Project parameters browser. It defines the settings for UVS-In parameters.

Tabs:

General Parameters Tab

Transfer internet offering price from VSB to UVS-In?: Select to include the internet selling price in the export to UVS-In.

UVS-In Franchises: Enter the single letter franchise codes for which the UVs-In interface must be activated.

Valid for veh.statusses: Enter the vehicle statuses for which the vehicles are available for UVS-In.

UVS-In Dealer Number: Enter the UVS-In Dealer number.

Default language-code: Enter the language code.

Country-code: Enter the 3-digit country code.

Default currency code: Enter the currency in which the prices must be exported.

NICZ-number: Enter the NICZ-number of the dealer.

Euro Y/N: Select if your currency is EURO. Otherwise leave it blank.

HP used in VSB: Select if horsepower (HP) is used in VSB instead of KiloWatts (KW).

Export file directory: Enter the directory where the export file should be stored.

Export file name: Enter the UVS-In export filename that is created.

Analysis Codes Recondition: Enter the VSB analysis codes that are used for recondition options.

Analysis Codes Warranty: Enter the VSB analysis codes that are used for warranty options.

Analysis Codes Overhead: Enter the VSB analysis codes that are used for overhead options.

Analysis Codes Commission: Enter the VSB analysis codes that are used for commission options.

Analysis Codes Chassis: Enter the VSB analysis codes that are used for chassis options.

Analysis Codes Mechanic: Enter the VSB analysis codes that are used for mechanic options.

Default customer type: Enter the the default customer type.

Communication type: Enter the MB communication type that is used to export the UVS-In data to a 3rd party. To deactivate the 3rd party, leave this field blank.

Note: If this communication type is blank, the export buttons in the UVS-In - Monitor form are not available.

Note: After defining the communication type in this parameter, it is necessary to set up this communication type in MB Communications.

Priority 3rd party export: Enter the minimum priority that a user must have to be able to use the 3rd party export functionality.

UVS-In On-line Tab

Connection configuration: Select the connection configuration to use for UVS-In interface.

Button:

Edit: Click to amend the current details. The Server Connection Details form is diplayed. To create a new Connection, select Edit > New from the toolbar on the Server Connection Details form.

Edit grid:

The grid is not editable. Select the Edit button to amend the details.

Protocol: For UVS-In the HTTPS, secured connection protocol, is required.

Host name: The IP address or Hostname of the UVS-In remote server on the internet.

Tip: Please use the Hostname, because an IP address will change when changing hosts on the Internet.

Port: The port number on the Host that accepts the UVS-In request.

Application path: The application URL path on the UVS-In remote server. For UVS-In the path is /auth/api/uvs-in/v2/in.

Connection time-out: Indicates the number of seconds after which an error is reported if the connection cannot be established. After this, the connection is considered broken.

Data time-out: Indicates the number of seconds after which an error is reported waiting for a response.

User ID: The User ID to be used for authentication on the remote UVS-In server.

Priority using UVS-In setup mode: Enter the minimum user priority that is necessary to use the UVS-In setup from the UVS-In interface form.

Default display filter: Enter the display filter option number that is used as default.

3rd party export filter to use in EOD: Enter the filter id on the basis of which the vehicles should be exported to the 3rd party in Timed operations.

Default sending pictures: Set the default option for including pictures in the export on the UVS-In - Monitor form.

Note: If Y is entered, the option Include pictures is displayed and if N if entered, the Do NOT include pictures option is displayed as default UVS-In - Monitor form.

Vehicle reservation criteria:

Based upon reservation-date: Select to activate the identification of a vehicle reservation status, based upon the reservation date.

Based upon progress-code: Enter the progress code that is used to identify the vehicle reservation status.

Number of transmission to keep per vehicle in archive (max.9): Enter the maximum number of transmissions that are kept per vehicle in the archive.

Auction sales types: Enter up to 10 VSB sale types to identify auction sales.

Locations & Dealernumbers Tab

This tab is used to map a VSB location to the correct UVS-In dealer number, if the dealer numbers are different per VSB location.

Location: Enter the location code.

Dealernumber: Enter the UVS-In dealer number.

Note: By default all vehicles of this VSB company are sent with the dealer number that is specified in the UVS-In Dealer Number field on the General Parameters Tab. If a combination of location and dealer number is entered here, it will transmit the vehicles with the corresponding dealer number.

UVS-In Print Formats Tab

the UVS-In interface provides the possibility to print the vehicle details based on customized printing formats. Up to 5 formats can be specified on this tab.

Format: Enter the print format.

Description: Enter the description of the format.

Gamis Formats Tab

Enter a maximum of 10 formats that can be printed within the UVS-In Interface.

Format: Enter the print format.
