Communication Types

The Communication types tab, shows the Communication types that are defined. It is possible to edit or delete a Communication types on this page.

A short explanation of the fields on the screen:

• Type - Communication type
• Company - The company number involved (** is a default company if the company number itself is not found).
• Description - Description of the communication type
• EBCDIC - Explained later
• Client - If communication takes place from the client.
• Protocol - If a build in protocol is used, for example ftp.

Edit a communication type

To edit a communication type, you must select the type that you want to edit with a left mouse click. The properties of the Communication type are displayed in the Communication Type screen.
