Menu pricing packages contain labour and/or parts items which are grouped together and belong to an identified package for services to be carried out on a specific vehicle.
Menu packages in general are supplied by the manufacturer and therefore are setup and maintained within Autoline’s manufacturers-specific module (MS). However, menu packages rely on parts and labour which are kept within a Point of Sales (POS) company and as such all prices are calculated and discounted according the POS setup.
The same menu packages might be used for all POS companies, or might be used for a single POS company or might be used for a group of POS companies which are defined within a region.
Note: Before you can use Menu Pricing, the manufacturer-supplied, menu-pricing packages must be imported into the Autoline system.
This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Utilities > Mercedes-Benz parameters and you browse to Service > + Menu Pricing Parameters > [MB. Mercedes-Benz] on the Project parameters browser.
Tip: Subject to your user priorities, you can also change these settings via Point of Sales > Required company > Point-of-Sales > Links > Utilities > SPPS > Settings > POS-Company parameters.
