Damagecodes tab

Within this tabpage you can add and search for new damagecodes, assign them to a line, check the details of a damagecode and delete unassigned damagecodes.

Damagecodes found for this claim:

• Damage-key : Damagecodes on this claim.
• Tickbox : Tickbox, when ticked, the damagecode is assigned to lines on the claim.
• Description : Description of the damagecode.

Buttons:

• Add new : When pressing this button, you can search for a new damagecode.
• Assign : With this button you can assign a damagecode to a labour- or partline.
• Details : Gives the details of the damagecode, the same option as the Show Repair-details in the right-click menu of a claimed line.
• Del. unass. : With this button you can delete unassigned damagecodes.

Damagecodes can already be retrieved in WIS-module, when labourlines are loaded from the ASRA-system into the WIP. In that case the damagecode will automatically be taken over to the Vega-Retail claim. Also will the damagecode be assigned to the corresponding labour-line.

If not, the damagecodes can be added to the claim by entering the damagecodes-tabpage after which via the Add-New button a damagecode can be selected from the DSM-repaircode file by clicking the Search-button, or via the WIS-system by clicking the WIS-button.

If you want to search for a damagecode you must:

• Press the button Add New.
• After pressing the button a new screen is opened, Searching a damagecode.
• Enter, when applicable, a criteria in the empty field and press the WIS button.
• The WIS application or Star Damage Interface is started.
• Select a damagecode and press the OK button.

After selecting the damagecode you must assign it to the labour-, sundry- or partslines.

To assign the damagecode to the labour-, sundry- or partsline you must:

• Select the damagecode you want to assign.
• Press the Assign button.
• After pressing the button a screen with all the labour-, sundry- or parts line appears.
• Click the Y/N column of the labout- or parts lines you want to assign.
• A blue marker indicates the selected detail-lines.
• Select the OK button.

When labour and parts are assigned to the selected damagecode, a marker in the column Ass will indicate a damagecode to which detail-lines are assigned to, after which the Detail button can be pressed to complete the information about the damagecode.

Delete unassigned

It is possible that you have selected more damagecodes then needed. In this case you can delete all not-assigned-damagecodes by pressing the Del Unass. button.
