To access the Batch Conversion program, you must:
If the program is entered it searches what live companies are set up on the system for every module and subsequently a check is made whether the applicable Autoline table exists.
The shadow files on the system, which are a kind of system back up are converted as well. These shadow files can be recognised by the '*.sh' extention, also is the line in the grid for these files greyed out.
Note: Since not all tables have to exist on a system and the table on the previous page contains all files (until now) that contain the chassis number, it is possible that one or more Autoline tables do not appear in the conversion grid.
If the table contains more than one record, the table is automatically select for conversion in the grid. It is possible to manually exclude a file for conversion by ticking off the Convert column for that line.
To start the conversion, select the Convert button.
During the conversion the program will keep the user informed of the progress of the conversion.
After the conversion has finished, a message is given.
During the conversion a log file is created, which gives information on the numbers of converted records. To view the log file, select the View log file button.
