Splitt a WIP

In case the parts on a WIP are split in a customer share and a warranty share, the discount on the part and the cost price of the part must be taken into account. The whole situation is explained below with an example.

Note: Depending on the system set up, the figures may deviate from another system!

If partnumber MA542 030 14 60 is put on the WIP and invoiced to the customers account, the customer must pay 103.16 and no discount is given.

If the same part is invoiced to the warranty account, a discount of 33% is given to invoice the cost price of the part, in this example 69.12.

If the part is invoiced for 50% to the customers account and the other 50% is claimed, the invoice will look like the calculation below.
