There are three possibilities to enter the VEGA Retail module. All possibilities are explained underneath.

• Entering SEAG/VEGA after an invoice:
  After the warranty WIP is invoiced within the Point-of-Sale module of Autoline, you automatically enter the VEGA Retail module.

• Entering SEAG/VEGA from Point-of-Sale:

  Press the Warranty button in the Point-of-Sale screen.

• Entering SEAG/VEGA from the manufacturers system:
  • Select from the main menu the Manufacturer Systems menu, this in combination with Company MB.
  • From the Mercedes-Benz Main Menu, select the Menu-Service option.
  • The Mercedes-Benz Utilities menu is displayed.

  • Select the Warranty SEAG/VEGA option.
  • Select the VEGA claim-maintenance option

When you are in the Point-of-Sale module and you select the Warranty button and the Vega-Retail module will be called.

If there is a job-order present at that moment with a valid chassisnumber, the Vega-retail module will search for all the existing claims with that chassisnumber after which a selection can be made for the required claim to review or amend.

If no claims are found, or no job currently was in memory, the normal Vega-search routine will be called after which the search criteria can be keyed in to retrieve the required claim.

After clicking the Search button, the Vega-module will show all the claims that meet the required criteria.
