Maintain Mapping Body Codes

The Mapping Body Codes list is displayed within the Mapping Body Codes grid, when you have selected the Mapping Body Codes.

Tip: To reduce the amount post UVS-Out interface vehicle maintenance, the mapping table should contain the most common mappings available. Example, The UVS-Out interfaces has a body code of 4 (Limousine), Autoline facilitates the recording of body codes based upon the types of body (Estate, Fastback, Hatchback and Limousine).

What do you want to do?

• Create a new body code mapping record.
• Create, maintain, delete a body code mapping record.

UVS-Out Mapping Tables Form

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Sales > Menu - Vehicle Information > Mapping tables and then selecting File > Open > Mapping Body codes from the toolbar or seleting the Mapping Body codes radio button.

Menu Bar and Toolbar:

Menu bar	Toolbar	Action
File > Exit		Returns you to the Mercedes-Benz VeDoc Interface menu.
File > Open		Opens the selected mapping table from the list and displays it in the current form; Mapping Transmission types, Mapping Body codes, Mapping Fuel codes and Mapping CRM branches.
File > New		Creates a mapping to the selected mapping table. This option is available after opening a mapping table.
File > Amend		Edit the mapping of the selected mapping record. This option is available after opening a mapping table.
File > Delete		Deletes the selected mapping record. This option is available after opening a mapping table. Warning: Be aware, deleting a record is processed without any message.
Help > Help		Displays this help topic in a web browser.

Mapping Body Code Grid:

UVS-Out Body Code: Indicates the body code from the UVS-Out interface.

Autoline Code: Indicates the mapped Autoline body code as defined within Franchise data.

Autoline body description: Displays the description of the Autoline body code.

Create a New Mapping Body Code Record

Click File > New from the toolbar. The Mapping Body Code Form is displayed.

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Sales > Menu - Vehicle Information > Mapping tables > Mapping Body Code > New toolbar button.

Fields:

UVS-Out Code: Defines the UVS-Out interface body code.

Autoline Code: Defines the required mapped Autoline body code.

1. Click the Dropdown located next to the Autoline code data entry field. A list of the Autoline Franchise Data body codes is displayed, for mapping against the UVS-Out Body code.

2. Select the required Autoline Body code which defines the required mapping relationship.

3. Click the OK button to create the new Body code mapping record.

Buttons:

OK: Accept and creates a new UVS-Out Body code mapping record.

Cancel: Cancel the creation of a new Body code.

Maintain, Delete a Mapping Body Record

Select the Body mapping type record to maintain. The Mapping Body code Form is displayed.

This form is displayed when you click Manufacturer systems (Module) and MB. Mercedes-Benz (Company) > Menu - Sales > Menu - Vehicle Information > Mapping tables > Mapping Body Code > select the correct Body Code.

Fields:

UVS-Out Code: Display of the UVS-Out interface Body code.

Autoline Code: Defines the mapped Autoline Body code.

1. Click the Dropdown located next to the Autoline code data entry field. A list of the Autoline Franchise Data Body codes is displayed, for mapping against the UVS-Out Body code.

2. Select the required Autoline Body code which defines the required mapping relationship.

3. Click the OK button to save the changes to the Body code mapping record.

Buttons:

OK: Accept the UVS-Out and Autoline Body code mapping changes.

Cancel: Cancel the maintenance of the Body code.

Delete: Delete the selected Body code mapping code.

Warning: Be aware that deleting a record is processed without any warning messages.
