Create text or HTML/URL formatted notes.

Within the notes option, you have the facility to add additional notes via HTML format, manually typed notes or via a URL.

  1. If the user has chosen to write their own text, simply type in the note box provided.

  2. If the user has chosen to link via a HTML formatted file, simply type the file name in the note box provided

  3. If the user has chosen to link via a URL to a website, simply type the website address in the notes box provided

This procedure can be completed at several level. The levels are as follows:

  • Model Level: This will display notes for that specific model.
  • Variant Level: This will display notes for that specific variant.
  • Options (Notes Tab): This will allow you to add notes to any option, this will then display when in Showroom and Vehicle stockbooks.
  • To add notes.

    First decide which level you wish to add these notes, then within the blank coloured screen do either of the following:

  • Text: Type your text as normal.
  • HTML Format: Type the full HTML file path this file can be held locally on your PC. (For example: http://C:\DD Helpfiles\completed helpfiles\TUM.DD.html)
  • URL Formatted: Type the full URL Website link that you wish to link to. (For example: http://www.kerridge.com)
  • File: Pictures and presentations can also accessed, example File://C:\Temp\Demo.ppt will display a powerpoint presentation held on an individuals computer.
  • If using the HTML or URL option, the Preview will become enabled, if the link is incorrect, then this button will stay disabled, until the link is correct.

    When completed, check that the link works and is taking you to the correct formatted file or website. Click OK When completed.
