Imported Tyre Details

Overview

Displays a detailed view of the imported tyre transaction record.

What do you want to do?

To access the Imported Tyre Details form:

  1. From the Master Menu, select the Maintenance Control option and Company required.

    The Maintenance Control Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Maintenance Control option.

    The Maintenance Control form is displayed.

  3. Select the New icon.

    The Fleet Global Search form is displayed.

  4. Select the required vehicle record for which the approval is to be issued.

  5. Select the History Tab.

  6. Single-left-click on a tyre item record from the grid.

    The Maintenance History Review form is displayed.

  7. Select the Tyre Details command button.

    The Imported Tyres form is displayed.

  8. Single-left-click on a row within the grid.

Imported Tyre Details form

This form is divided into three parts that are as follows:

Title Bar

In addition to displaying the form name the Title Bar displays a number of other useful identification criteria and buttons.

Imported Tyre Details Dialogue Box

Displays a more detailed view of the imported tyre record.

Regno: The registration number of the vehicle.

Replacement Reason: The replacement reason as detailed within the imported file (and held within the Replacement Codes table).

Tyre Detail: The full tyre code of the replacement tyre.

Tyre Tread Depth: The tread depth of the replaced tyre as detailed within the imported file (and held within the Tyre Tread Depths table).

Tyre Price: The retail price of the replacement tyre.

Valve Price: The retail price of a replacement valve (if applicable)

Balance Price: The price of balancing the wheel.

Recharge Flag: A checkbox which, if ticked, denotes that some or all of the replacement cost is to be recharged to the customer. (This value originates for the Replacement Codes and Other Codes tables.

Tyre Recharge %: The percentage of the tyre cost to be recharged to the customer (calculated from the remaining tread depth as held in the Tyre Tread Depths table).

Tyre Recharge value: The value of the tyre cost to be recharged to the customer (calculated from the remaining tread depth as held in the Tyre Tread Depths table).

Tyre Position: The tyre position code e.g. NSR (Near Side Rear).

COMMAND BUTTONS:

The full list of command buttons is as follows:

OK: Returns to the Imported Tyres form.

Help: Displays online context-sensitive help using the default browser.
