Updating the Address Book

The address book contains a list of public and private names and email addresses.

To generate a new address book on a Unix server:

  1. On the Administrator form's Mail tab, click the Address book... button.

    The Generate Address Book dialog is displayed.

  2. Click the Generate button.

    The Generate Address Book dialog closes, returning you to the Administrator form's Mail tab.

Addressing Fax Messages

Because the electronic administrator can be configured to send fax messages, the address book can contain entries from the marketing target file.

Note: This function is only available if you have a fax box on your system.

To include marketing records in the address book:

The system supervisor must make sure that the address book is rebuilt from within the marketing system.

Tip: The text typed in may be matched with user IDs, user names and target names as well as target fax numbers.
