Menu Pricing

The Menu prices form enables you to create and maintain your own, dealer-specific menus. Any menus you create here are accessed in Point-of-Sale (POS) by selecting the 00 Global company. They are not affected by data conversions.

Menu Prices Form

This form is displayed when you select the Menu pricing option from the ADP STANDARD OPERATIONS menu in Manufacturer systems. It enables you to carry out maintenance of dealer-specific menu prices used in the dealership.

Menu code: Contains all the created menu codes and whatever you want to call a specific menu code, for example, a code name of BABY for Babyseat, or a numeric code. It must have a unique name.

Company: identifies a Point-of-Sale company.

Use filter: If this check box is selected, Menu codes are searched only for the Company specified in the Company field.

Tabs:

Main Detail Tab

Short name: Short name that can be used to locate a menu.

Model group: Relates to the model group file displayed when you select the Vehicle models option on the ADP STANDARD OPERATIONS menu.

Free text: Full menu description displayed to the user in Point-of-Sale.

Fixed price amount: Fixed menu price.

VAT inclusive flag: If this check box is selected, the fixed price menu includes VAT.

VAT code: Determines which VAT code/rate is to be applied to the menu. Both uppercase and lowercase versions of the code must appear in the Nominal Ledger VAT codes structure with the prevailing rate. One of:

Analysis code: Sale type single-letter identifier for reporting purposes, to analyse menu sales.

RTS codes: Standard, Repair-Time Schedule codes set up by using the Standard RTS codes option on the ADP STANDARD OPERATIONS Menu. You can enter up to eight labour items.

Parts/assemblies (1-8): Up to eight individual part numbers or kit numbers.

Tip: If you have more than eight Parts/assemblies, enter the extra ones on the Additional parts tab.

Quantity: Parts or kit quantity.

Additional Parts Tab

This tab holds Parts/assemblies and Quantity information where the number of parts or kits entered exceeds the maximum that fits on the Main detail tab.

Parts/assemblies (9-24): Either individual part numbers or kit numbers.

Quantity: Parts or kit quantities.
