This option specifies the Stock Management (SM) Franchise letter to be applied to WIP Part line records via the Create WIP function in Estimate Maintenance. This table is mapped via the vehicle franchise code that is attached to estimate.
Tip: When a new vehicle Franchise is specified in an imported Estimate the mapping table file should be maintained via this option,to avoid 'manual mapping' for estimates subsequently created.
To map a franchise:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Bodyshop estimating interface option and Company required.
The BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu is displayed.
Select Miscellaneous options.
The BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed.
Select the Franchise mapping option.
The Vehicle stock franchise mapping Sorted by form is displayed.
This form is displayed when you select BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu from the BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu and select the Franchise Mapping option.
Vehicle (MK) Franch.: Franchise Data 'short' vehicle franchise code value to be mapped.
Sequence: To be set to zero.
Stock (SM) Franchise: Stock Management franchise letter to be applied to WIP parts lines created via the Create WIP function.
