The BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed when you select Miscellaneous options from the BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu. This menu controls certain routine maintenance functions which are set at a lower level of system security than the System Maintenance functions, but which do not constitute daily operational functions. The systems supervisor should be the only person responsible for many of these options
Warning: The significance of these options must be fully understood. If in any doubt, do not make any changes without prior consultation with your System Manager or an Autoline support consultant.
Subsystem Maintenance: When Import estimate is selected, a list of systems that the Bodyshop Estimating software can interface with is presented - this list is created in Subsystem maintenance. These details define the first level of subsystem configuration.
Address Maintenance: The Address maintenance option allows a user to manage the names and addresses stored with in the Bodyshop Estimating data files
Record type maintenance: This form displays Record data related to customer defined bodyshop vehicle codes and condition codes. These define the details stored within the Bodyshop Estimating Codes file.
GMX labour operation mapping table: This option is used only by the Glassmatix 2 For Windows subsystem. It is used when the Import Estimate function is used and provides a further level of labour code mapping.
BE codes maintenance: These are the codes used to define, for example, point of impact or vehicle condition in the Bodyshop Estimating system analysis fields, depending on the record type codes applicable
BE/SS code mapping: This file provides the mapping between some subsystem codes and their Autoline equivalents. These can be printer if required.
Total type maintenance: The records in Total type maintenance define the operating parameters for the structure of the Create WIP function within the Estimate Maintenance option..
Labour types: All subsystems provide a labour type with each line imported - this file provides the mapping for each type of labour to a POS labour type and Bodyshop Estimating total type.
Operation types: Some subsystems do not provide manufacturer RTS codes - if they do not, this file is used to map the labour operation types to standard RTS codes, as defined in Manufacturer Systems.
VAT Code mapping: This table is used to map the VAT codes supplied by the subsystems into the Autoline standard VAT codes.
Franchise Mapping: This table relates to the Vehicle Franchise code , Stock Management (SM) Franchise letter to be applied to WIP Part line records when the Create Wip function is used.
Manufacturer mapping: As vehicles are imported from the subsystems, the import program tries to create a link from the text description of franchise to a vehicle franchise code. This is achieved using this table which is built dynamically by the system.
Model mapping: As vehicles are imported from the subsystems, the import program tries to create a link from the text description of model to a model code stored withing the Franchise Data module. This is achieved using this table which is built dynamically by the system.
Change reasons: If an estimate is amended so that its value becomes different from the original imported version, the system asks for a Change reason code and possibly descriptive text as well.
Rejection code maintenance: If an estimate is rejected, the system asks for a Change reason code and possibly descriptive text as well. This data can then be used for analysis of reasons for estimate rejection.
EMail types: Defines which events generate a notification email to be produced.
EMail user list: Defines the list of email users who get the event driven email's from the Email types
