EMail User List

When certain events happen in the processing of an estimate defined by email types, the system can be programmed to EMail various users with information about the event. For example, EMail can be sent to an administrator to advise them that new estimates have been imported, or EMail can be sent to the parts manager when unknown part numbers are being used in an estimate. This file contains lists of who should be emailed, and about which events.

To update the EMail user list:

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Bodyshop estimating interface option and Company required.

    The BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu is displayed.

  2. Select Miscellaneous options.

    The BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed.

  3. Select the EMail user lists option.

    The EMail user list form is displayed.

EMail User Lists Form

This form is displayed when you select BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu from the BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu and select the EMail user list option.

EMail Group: EMail type group to be emailed :

Administrator: emailed when estimates are imported.

Parts: emailed when a WIP is created with unknown part numbers on it.

Labour: emailed when a WIP is created with unknown RTS codes on it.

Note:There can be several lines with the same type group, enabling a number of people to be mailed at the same time.

User ID: EMail user ID of person or group to be mailed.
