GMX Labour OP Mapping

This option is used only by the Glassmatix 2 For Windows subsystem. It is used when the Import Estimate function is used to provide an additional level of labour mapping if required.

To access the GMX labour op mapping table:

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Bodyshop estimating interface option and Company required.

    The BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu is displayed.

  2. Select Miscellaneous options.

    The BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed.

  3. Select the GMX labour op mapping table option.

    The GMX labour op mapping form is displayed.

GMX Labour OP Mapping Form

This form is displayed when you select BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu from the BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu and then select GMX labour op mapping table option.

Labour operation: Up to a two character operation code used within the Glassmatix susbsystem.

Labour type: Up to a two character Labour type code used within the Glassmatix susbsystem.

KEY description: Up to a 25 character string containing descriptive labour text details as used within the Glassmatix susbsystem to specify labour operations.

Destination lab op: A two character Labour operations code to be used in the labour line created via the Import function.

Destination lab type: Two character Labour TypeLabour Type code to be used by the Import function when creating labour lines.

Use units or price: If set to P the system uses the hours specified by the Glassmatix susbsystem. If set to U the system uses the 'real' units value specified by the susbsystem.

Default RTS slot: Only used if the Destination labour operation code cannot be found within the Operation Types data file. If so, this value is used to indicate the 'line entry detail' within the operations mapping group, within the subsystem control file, that is to be used to set the RTS code to be accessed within the Operation Types data file when creating Labour lines.
