This file provides the mapping between some subsystem codes and their Autoline equivalents. They provide a method of standardising the information coming in from the subsystems. For instance, the Excellent condition code from Glassmatix and the one from Audatex might be different (making reporting difficult), so they are mapped to the Bodyshop Estimating code for Excellent.
Note: These files are normally updated with the advice of a consultant.
To Access subsystem code mapping:
The BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu is displayed.
Select BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS.
The BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed.
Select the BE/SS code mapping option.
The BE/SS code mapping form is displayed.
Tip: Use the drop down button
to select from the list.
Type Code: The type of Code Mapping you want to maintain.
Subsystem: The two-character identifier for the subsystem that supplied the code.
Select the Type Code and Subsystem that you want to maintain by using the drop down button facility.
A list of subsystem codes and estimating codes are displayed according to the type selected.
Right click on the relevant code in the list.
The option to create, amend or delete a code is displayed.
Make the relevant changes and click OK to save.
On completion of selections the mapping between Subsystem codes and Bodyshop estimating codes is presented.
