The records in the Total type maintenance form define the operating parameters for the structure of the Create WIP function within the Estimate Maintenance option.
To access the Total type maintenance form:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Bodyshop estimating interface option and Company required.
The BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu is displayed.
Select Miscellaneous options.
The BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu is displayed.
Select the Total type maintenance option.
The Total type maintenance form is displayed.
This form is displayed when you select BE MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu from the BODYSHOP ESTIMATING main menu and select the Total Type Maintenance option.
The Total type maintenance form comprises a Total type code selection field window and a Main Details tab.
Total type code: Click on the
button to present a list of Total Types codes from which a selection can be made.
The Main Details tab comprises two groups as follows:
Main
Description: This area contains text describing the basis of the Total Value and is completed following selection of a Total type code.
Combination Detail
Combine for WIP: This is a tick/untick field. When ticked, all labour operations are combined into one labour line when the Create WIP function is selected.
Combination RTS Code: This defines the labour operation code to be used when creating the single combined WIP labour line via the Create WIP function.
Combination desc.: This text field can contain up to six lines, each of up to forty characters. The text describes the labour operations to be undertaken via the Create WIP function.
Combination Lab. Rate: The Labour Rate letter code that should be used by the Create WIP function on the labour line created.
Combination WL group: The Workshop Loading skill code letter to be used by the Create WIP function within the point of sale labour details.
