Option Groups

The Option Group is displayed when Option Group is selected for the Miscellaneous Menu. The form displays options groups, which include colours and trims, that are displayed in franchise order, which is then filter into model code order, then option group.

This option is to enable options to be grouped together for example group all Alloy wheels, CD Players or Radio's together, this will when in Showroom and Vehicle stockbooks, group these option together, and if also sequenced, will display in the sequenced order.

These group are set up within Build Specification, create new or amend and existing option.

Within the form are the following fields:

  • Franchise Code: Displays the Franchise code.
  • Model Code: Displays the Model Code.
  • Group: Displays the Option group for that franchise and model.
  • Description: Displays the description of the option, colour, trim within the group.
  • Sequence: Will display a number, to show the sequence of each option group. If there is no sequence then the field will have a zero (0).

    • Buttons

    Exit: Returns you to the MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS menu.

    Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
