Prevent/Allow Access

If there is a need to prevent users from entering the Purchase Control Module for any reason, for example in order to verify files, this option is used. By preventing access you can stop new users entering Purchase Control. When current users leave the module, this option will prevent them from re-entering it.

To access the Prevent /allow access form:

1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Purchase Control Module and the Company you require.

   The PURCHASE CONTROL Menu is displayed.

2. From the PURCHASE CONTROL Menu select the System maintenance option.

   The PC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Menu is displayed.

3. From the PC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Menu select the Prevent/allow access option.

   The Prevent/allow access form is displayed.

The Prevent / allow access form is displayed when you select the Prevent/allow access option from the PC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Menu

The form allows you to control access to the Purchase Control Module.

CHECK BOX:

Status: Access allowed: Set this check box to a tick to prevent access to the Purchase Control Module.The status changes to access prevented and the terminal number is displayed.

Note: Access must be allowed again from the terminal on which the Prevent/allow access option was originally run.

PUSH BUTTONS:

Exit: Returns you to the PC SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu.

Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.

Display Users: Display all users currently logged into the Purchase Control Module.

Clear Illegal Users: Clear all users that are illegally logged into the system. This will include users that may have not logged out properly or users that have had a problem with their PC.
