The Prevent/allow Access form is displayed when the Prevent/allow access option is selected from the SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu.
On entry to the screen, the display will show which module you are currently in, and which company number is selected and what the access status is for the company selected.
CHECKBOXES
Prevent-access - (Status check box): This is a check box. This will lock the module, but only for the company currently selected. Once locked, the status on the screen will illustrate that the module is locked by whoever carried out the operation, and show the terminal number used. Other users will not be allowed to enter the module using this company number, although users already in the company can continue to use it. They can be identified using the Display users option above. The module must be unlocked by the same user, using the same terminal number.
Allow access - (Status check box): This is the same check box as the Prevent access. This will remove the locked status from the module/company combination and allow other users to gain access to the system.
BUTTONS
Display users: This will clear the screen and replace the display with a list of all of the current users of the current module/company combination. The display will show the terminal number, the location of the terminal, you ID and the access status.
Clear-illegal-users: Where a user has logged out of the system illegally this option will remove their entry on the Display users screen. It will not remove users who are currently correctly logged into the company being viewed.
Exit: This will return you to the System maintenance menu.
