The features that the Reports and enquiries menu provide are of three kinds. These are the facilities of the Report generator sub-system, those of the Ad-hoc enquiries option, and the facilities of the pre-set reports.
Hard copy reports are available to supplement the screen based drill down reporting model.
Note: The usual pre-set reports are described in this topic, but the flexibility of configuration set in Autoline may result in your system having extra pre-set options in the menu.
The facilities of the Report Generator sub-system are common to all Revision 8 software applications. These facilities allow you to create your own reports from any combination of the fields on your records.
Any combination of system generated or user-entered fields can be used to provide detailed information in reports which you yourself design. Instead of being forced to depend on a few standard reports you can select the ones that meet your individual day to day requirements. You can also create special reports that solve particular problems as they arise.
Note: A formatting language is used to layout reports according to individual requirements. You may wish to learn this technique, or alternatively ask your Kerridge consultant to develop the reports required. The formatting commands

The MA REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed when you select the Reports & enquiries option from the MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS menu. From this menu, you can task any report or enquiry.
Report generator: The facilities of the Report Generator sub-system are common to all Rev.8 software applications. Enquiries menu: Takes you into Ad-hoc enquiries and prompts you to select the required file. This is the standard utility, as provided within every module's REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.
Ad-hoc on AC drill: Takes you into Ad-hoc enquiries and automatically loads the account file.
View financial report: This option displays financial reports before printing.
Print financial report: This option is used to produce reports via a printer.
Edit financial report format: This option allows the creation, editing and deletion of report formats. It is these formats that are used to tailor the financial reports that are produced to your own particular requirements.
Print financial report format: This is a printable report that gives a listing of available formats.
List current profiles: This is a printable report that gives a detailed list of all profiles that have been set up.
List MA records: This report gives a detailed list of the data set up on a selected budget type. It is a list of the figures recorded on one budget type only and not a financial report.
NL expense codes not found: This report lists any Nominal Ledger expense codes that are 'mapped' to non-existent management account expense codes.
