An option exists within every company, customer and vehicle CRM record that allows the evaluation of after-sales revenue against pre-determined budget or potential revenue criteria.
Warning: In order for the aftersales analysis to produce figures, you will need to input realistic potential figures for parts, service, sublet, counter parts, and base annual mileage figures in franchise data, variant options, A/Sales base data tab. The basis is as follows: variant x, assuming it does y miles per year, should generate z pounds of after-sales revenue per year, split between the four areas previously mentioned.
The analysis of the after sales revenue can be accessed from the top tool bar on the CRM Record maintenance screen, select Company, customer or Vehicle menu, Veh-maint-reven.Enter a company number, a customer number or vehicle number. If a company or customer has been loaded then the figures are consolidated from all currently owned vehicles.
Company, customer and vehicle analysis will display year to date and life to date figures for invoices posted from Point of sale against vehicles.
Note:The Vehicle Details can only be accessed when a vehicle is loaded and requires manual input for accurate analysis.
The Year to date figures are produced from invoices raised from Point of sale, exclusive of vat.
The Life to date figures are produced from invoices raised from Point of sale, inclusive of vat.
These figures are based on the PS mileage factor entered. The base mileage should be multiplied, to arrive at a realistic estimate of the vehicle's true projected mileage per annum. The analysis will proportion this to the time that the vehicle has been delivered, e.g. if the vehicle has been on the road for 90 days then only 25% of its annual spend will be allocated in the display of data.
Note: Accumulation of any figures on any vehicle only commences after the delivery date has been entered and will only show costs posted from point of sale. Vehicle stock book costs are ignored.
