Record Sales Analysis

The Record sales analysis graph is displayed when you select the sales analysis option from the CRM sales analysis options with in the company and customer records.

The option is only available if sales analysis has been set up on the system and the sales analysis daemon is set to update the analysis files. Even if this is done if the sales option is not selected in CRM user access control the option will not be available in the CRM records.

Once the sales analysis option has been taken from the company or the customer record the graph form will be opened the company or customer record number and name will be displayed in the blue bar at the top of the screen. As well as the actual graph display the form includes drop downs and radio buttons to allow you to change the data being displayed on the graph.

Department: Select the department for which the sales analysis is required.

Tip:Select the drop down menu, adjacent to the Department field, in order to view / select from all the available departments.

Product: Select the product group, particular to the department selected, on which sales analysis is required.

Tip: Select the drop down menu, adjacent to the Product field, in order to view / select from all the available product groups.

Sales type: Select the Sale type on which sales analysis is required. Some of the sale types may not be relevant to a particular department/product group mix such as 'I' for internal or 'W' for warranty on vehicle sales or possibly 'T' for trade on workshop sales.

Tip: Select the drop down menu facility, adjacent to the Sales type field, in order to view / select from all the available Sales types.

This year: Select the This year radio button to display the graph using this years data.

Last year: Select the Last year radio button to display the graph using last years data.

Comparison: Select the Comparison radio button to display the graph in 3D format comparing this years data with last years data.

Sales: Select the Sales radio button to display the graph using the Sales data.

Discount: Select the Discount radio button to display the graph using the Discount data.

Costs: Select the Costs radio button to display the graph using the Costs data.

Quantities: Select the Quantities radio button to display the graph using the Quantities data.

Profit: Select the Profit radio button to display the graph using the derived Profit Values.

Margin%: Select the Margin% radio button to display the graph using the derived Margin percentage.

Unit profit: Select the Unit profit radio button to display the graph using the derived Unit profit.

BUTTONS:

Close: Returns you to the loaded CRM record.

Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.

Values: Displays a Values form showing the Sales, COS, Discount and Units figures behind the graph you are viewing.
