The Seasonal Equipment Management System SEMS allows the user to manage their customer's seasonal equipment / winter stock, such as tyres, hard top or other items that are stored and linked to either a CRM customer or vehicle or a combination of customer and vehicle.
All lookup data tables can be accessed directly from the CRM module menu.
The function is accessible directly via the CRM module or using links from Point-of-Sales and CRM vehicles.
Note: The Point-of-Sale WIP CRM Case toolbar button enables the creation of WIP lines from the seasonal equipment SEMS records.

SEMS Area:
SEMS Ref No: Displays the SEMS: unique reference number.
Vehicle Details Area:
Registration: Displays the CRM vehicle registration number.
VIN: Displays the CRM vehicle Identification number (VIN).
Button:
More: Displays the Extend Vehicle Details form.
Customer Details:
Customer Name: Displays the CRM Customer name.
Address: Displays the CRM customer address.
Phone: Displays the CRM Customer contact phone number.
Seasonal Equipment Area:
This area lists all of the seasonal equipment associated with the vehicle in summary and detail levels
Type: Displays the seasonal equipment.
Status: Displays the status of the seasonal equipment.
For Tyre equipment the following additional information is displayed.
Position: Displays the logical physical position for the tyre fitment to the vehicle..
Manufacturer: Displays the recorded tyre manufacturer.
Model: Displays the tyre model.
Tread: Displays the recorded tyre tread depth.
To create new equipment records:
Clicking Seasonal equipment management > File > New > Create equipment, displays a list of available Equipment types.
Selecting a Non tyre type displays the Seasonal equipment maintenance form.
Complete the seasonal equipment maintenance form and select the Save toolbar button.
To maintain equipment records:
Clicking the equipment types to be maintained displays the pre-populated Seasonal equipment maintenance form.
Complete the seasonal equipment maintenance form and select the Save toolbar button.
To create new tyre records:
Clicking Seasonal equipment management > File > New > Create tyre displays the Tyre maintenance form.
Complete the tyre maintenance form and select the Save toolbar button.
To maintain tyre records:
Clicking the tyre record to be maintained displays the Tyre maintenance form.
Complete the tyre maintenance form and select the Save toolbar button.
To create SEMS records:
Clicking Seasonal equipment management > File > New > Create SEMS record, displays a blank Seasonal equipment management form
Clicking the button located next the the Registration data
entry field displays the CRM search form.
Search for the required vehicle by Registration number.
When the required vehicle is located the details of the vehicle and owners are displayed in the Details area.
Clicking either the Sales contact, Aftersales contact or Driver activates the load button and populates the Seasonal equipment management form based upon the located vehicle / customer.
You can now enter Equipment or Tyres onto the newly created SEMS record.
To delete an equipment record:
Clicking Seasonal equipment management > File > New > Create equipment, displays a list of available Equipment types.
Selecting a Non tyre type displays the Seasonal equipment maintenance form.
Complete the seasonal equipment maintenance form and select the Save toolbar button.
To delete a tyre record:
Having located the Tyre to be delete deletion can be actioned using
To delete an SEMS record:
Clicking Seasonal equipment management > File > New > Create SEMS record, displays a blank Seasonal equipment management form
Clicking the button located next the the Registration data
entry field displays the CRM search form.
Search for the required vehicle by Registration number.
When the required vehicle is located the details of the vehicle and owners are displayed in the Details area.

You can now enter Equipment or Tyres onto the newly created SEMS record.
To book equipment into the seasonal equipment system:
Right clicking the equipment being booked into the seasonal equipment system displays a list of the available options.
Clicking the Book In option sets the selected equipment status to In and sets the equipment storage date / time in to be the current date and time.
To book equipment out of the seasonal equipment system:
Right clicking the equipment being booked out of the seasonal equipment system displays a list of the available options.
Clicking the Book Out option sets the selected equipment status to Out and sets the equipment storage date / time out to be the current date and time.
To change the owner of equipment:
Create a new equipment SEMS record for the vehicle that now owns the seasonal equipment.
Right clicking the equipment that has changed owner displays a list of the available options.
Clicking the Change owner option displays the CRM search form.
Search for the newly created SEMS record
Clicking the located new SEMS record moves the selected equipment to the new SEMS owner.
