Viewing Dealer Codes

Note: This help system contains standard information, some of which might not apply to your franchise. Click the Help button on the relevant forms or menus to see any existing help file specific to your Autoline configuration for that form or menu. Alternatively, a help file may exist in the Warranty Table of Contents specific to your manufacturer.

You can view and edit dealer codes.

To view or edit dealer codes:

  1. From the Operations menu, select the Warranty v2 option and click OK.

    The Warranty Claims Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Claim payments menu option and click OK.

    The Service and Repair Payments Menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Service and repair payments option and the Point-of-Sale company if you are prompted for one, and click OK.

    The Warranty Claim Payments form is displayed.

  4. Select Tools > Parameters on the menu bar or click the View/Edit parameters button settings.gif on the toolbar.

    The Warranty Parameters form is displayed.

  5. On the General parameters tab, click the Change button.

    The Dealer Code List form is displayed.

Dealer Code List Form

This form is displayed when you click the Change button on the Warranty Parameters form. It enables you to view or edit dealer codes.

Dealer codes:

Dealer code: Identifies a dealer.

Fran. letter: Single-letter vehicle franchise identifier if any.

POS dept: Point-of-Sale department if any.

Application: Application code if any.

Grid right-click menu:

Add new code: Enables you to add a new dealer code.

Edit code: Enables you to edit the selected dealer code.

Delete code: Deletes the selected dealer code.

Buttons:

OK: Returns you to the Warranty Parameters form, saving any changes you made to the dealer codes.

Cancel: Returns you to the Warranty Parameters form, ignoring any changes you made to the dealer codes.
