Adding and Editing Dealer Code Details

Note: This help system contains standard information, some of which might not apply to your franchise. Click the Help button on the relevant forms or menus to see any existing help file specific to your Autoline configuration for that form or menu. Alternatively, a help file may exist in the Warranty Table of Contents specific to your manufacturer.

You can add and edit dealer code details.

To add or edit dealer code details:

  1. From the Operations menu, select the Warranty v2 option and click OK.

    The Warranty Claims Menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Claim payments menu option and click OK.

    The Service and Repair Payments Menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Service and repair payments option and the Point-of-Sale company if you are prompted for one, and click OK.

    The Warranty Claim Payments form is displayed.

  4. Select Tools > Parameters on the menu bar or click the View/Edit parameters button settings.gif on the toolbar.

    The Warranty Parameters form is displayed.

  5. On the General parameters tab, click the Change button.

    The Dealer Code List form is displayed.

  6. Right-click the grid and select Add new code or Edit code as appropriate from the context menu.

    The Dealer code form is displayed.

Dealer Code Form

This form is displayed when you right-click the grid on the Dealer Code List form and select Add new code or Edit code from the context menu. It enables you to add or edit dealer code details.

Dealer code:

Dealer code: Identifies a dealer.

Vehicle franchise: Single-letter vehicle franchise identifier if any.

POS department: Point-of-Sale department if any.

Application: Application code if any.

Buttons:

OK: Returns you to the Dealer Code List form, saving any changes you made to the dealer code details.

Cancel: Returns you to the Dealer Code List form, ignoring any changes you made to the dealer code details.
