Labour Tab

Note: This help system contains standard information, some of which might not apply to your franchise. Click the Help button on the relevant forms or menus to see any existing help file specific to your Autoline configuration for that form or menu. Alternatively, a help file may exist in the Warranty Table of Contents specific to your manufacturer.

Each task within a claim is divided into labour and parts. The labour tab displays the labour details of the claim.

Labour details

M: The main labour operation is represented in Menu Pricing by M and an asterisk denotes each labour line attached to the main labour operation.

Labour Operation: The code assigned to the labour involved in repairing a particular fault.

Description: A description of the labour involved.

Time: The time spent on the repair.

Rate: The rate at which labour is charged.

Gross: The value of the line after tax.

Contrib: The approved contribution percentage.

Nett: The value of the line before tax.

Disc%: The approved discount for the labour.

V: Value added tax is represented by V. The upper case S denotes standard taxation (for example, VAT not included) whereas lower case s stands for tax included.

Non-fran: Is the labour non-franchise?

Type: The type of labour code.
