This menu is accessed when you select the eCat menu option from the FORD OPERATIONS Menu. It enables you to start the eCat daemon manually, set up the eCat connection parameter, and to view daemon log files. It contains the following menu options:
Administration: This is normally set up as a Priority 6 option. It allows you to view information on users that have opened the DMS-to-eCat interface. You can also access the Ford eCat daemon in order to stop or start it manually and to view the daemon log file of errors, responses and so on. The daemon itself is normally only accessed by Priority 8 and 9 users.
Ford eCat Parameters: This is normally set up as a Priority 6 option. It allows you to set up the basic connection information for the daemon and the labour franchise and labour rate code for each Point-of-Sale (POS) company.
