The MCS (Module de Ciblage des Symptômes, or Symptom Targeting Module) parameters are required to enable you to use MCS symptom codes. You must ensure that all MCS parameters have been completed before you link to MCS.
To check or amend the Renault PGCS specific parameters:
From the Renault Operations menu, select the PGCS menu option.
The PGCS Submissions Menu is displayed.
Select the Service and repair claims option and the name of the Company required.
The PGCS Claims form is displayed.
Either select the Parameters option from the Edit menu or click the Edit parameters button 
on the toolbar.
The Parameters form is displayed.
Click the Renault button.
The Renault PGCS Specific Parameters form is displayed.
This form is displayed when you click the Renault button on the Parameters form. It enables you to use MCS symptom codes.
MCS parameters:
Company: Number of the current Point-of-Sale company.
ISO country code: Two-character ISO country identifier, selectable with an Ellipsis button.
ISO language code: Two-character ISO language identifier, selectable with an Ellipsis button.
MCS in use: When this check box is ticked, MCS symptom code functionality is enabled.
MCS web page URL: URL used to access the MCS web page, including the port number.
AP2AP hostname or IP: Host name or IP address of the AP2AP server.
Time-out (seconds): Time-out in seconds for communicating with MCS.
Port number: Port number to use when communicating with the MCS service.
Warranty cap parameters:
Use warranty capping: When this check box is ticked, caps on warranty claims for the currently selected company are enforced.
Buttons:
OK: Returns you to the Parameters form, saving any changes you made to Renault PGCS specific parameters.
Cancel: Returns you to the Parameters form, abandoning any changes you made to Renault PGCS specific parameters.
Reset: Resets the parameters to their last saved settings.
