Changing the Sales Exchange Rate on the Fly

Note: If the exchange rate as a whole needs to change, that must be done in Manufacturer Systems > X3 > Vehicle multi-currency > Exchange rates.

Changing the Sales Exchange-Rate for Quotations and Stock in VS

The Sales Exchange Rate form enables you to change an exchange rate 'on the fly'. It can be displayed in Showroom Enquiries when you do one of the following:

• Create a customer order for a foreign-currency price-book vehicle

• Create an order for a foreign-currency used vehicle

• Change the exchange rate in Showroom Enquiries by selecting the menu-bar option Edit > Exchange Rate…

  (In the latter case, Exchange Rate is available if the current vehicle is a multi-currency vehicle, if priority is greater than the multi-currency parameter priority field SRQUEXST, and status is that of an editable state based on the SR system parameters.)

Currency code: Existing currency code

Currency rate: Existing currency rate

Currency total: Existing currency total

Base total: Existing base total

New Exchange Rate:

New Rate: Exchange Rate to which you are changing (if required). If no change is required, can be left as it is.

New Base total: New Base total

Help: Displays online help about the program, including this page.

Save: Saves your amended exchange rate.

Cancel: Abandons the exchange-rate amendment.
