The main function of the recruitment status codes is to allow for the processing of applicants and vacancies to proceed through each application stage within the recruitment system in a logical sequence.
To access the Recruitment Status Codes :-
The Human Resources Password form is displayed.
Enter your human resource password.
The HUMAN RESOURCES menu is displayed.
Select the Recruitment processing option.
The RECRUITMENT PROCESSING menu is displayed.
Select the Applicant records option.
The Applicant record is displayed.
Once an applicant record is selected or initially chosen for creation select the Tools option.
Select the Recruitment Status option.
The Recruitment Status form is displayed.
The Recruitment Status form is displayed when the Recruitment Status option is selected from the Tools menu from the applicant record.
Standard functionality exists that allows you to create and maintain records.
The data can be maintained further by using the Up and Down arrows to move codes around within the grid and also the Insert row, Delete row and Add row ICONs.
Code: The one character code, ideally the code is related to the description.
Description: 30 character description.
Use for vacancies: Tick if the status is also used for vacancies as well as applicants, typically, cold application and rejected are not used for vacancies.
Sequence: The logical sequence followed as each stage of the recruitment process is followed, typical sequences are as follows:-
0: Newly created or cold application.
1: Interview 1.
2: Interview 2.
3: Interview 3.
4: Offer employment.
5: Completed stage such as employ, reject or on hold.
6: Deletable.
Note: The sequence numbers must be very carefully set up with the assistance of an Autoline consultant, sequences 1, 2 and 3 are reserved for interview states and are used to generate mail and diary entries for interviewers.
Letter: The three character Rich Text Format type report letter ID used to produce a letter at each stage.
Document: The two character document type as defined within the archive document company linked to the human resources company.
Mail: Ticked if a mail message is to be generated to the vacancy placer and interviewer, the latter only for interview stages. If ticked a diary entry is also created for the interviewer at interview stages which are always the stages with sequence numbers 1, 2 and 3.
