The Opening balances option enables you to print out a report showing the financial position of all assets on the Register, correct at the start of the current financial year. In other words, the position of the Asset Register as it stood immediately following the last run of the End of year process option on the System Maintenance Menu.
To produce a printed listing of the financial position of assets at the start of the current financial year, perform the following steps:
From the Autoline Master menu select the Asset Register option and the company you require.
The ASSET REGISTER menu is displayed.
Click on the Report & enquiries option.
The AR REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.
Click on the the Opening balances report option.
The Opening balances form is displayed.
