Each classification record holds two sets of monthly figures, the number of parts that should have been counted each period and the number of parts actually counted each period. This option simply advances these figures by one slot, thus providing an empty slot for a new period. Obviously it should be run at a month end.
To advance the class history:
From the Master Menu, select the Stock checking option and the Company you require.
You are prompted for the stock location.
Select the Stock Location.
The STOCK CHECKING menu is displayed.
Select Perpetual options.
The SC PERPETUAL OPTIONS menu is displayed.
Select the Advance class history option.
The Advance class history form is displayed.
Note: There are no prompts associated with this report.
Click OK.
The report is compiled, and a report status is displayed.
This form is displayed when you select the Advance class history option from the SC PERPETUAL OPTIONS menu.
PUSH BUTTONS:
OK: Advances the figures for the number of parts that should have been counted each period and the number of parts actually counted each period by one slot, thus providing an empty slot for a new period
Cancel: Returns you to the SC PERPETUAL OPTIONS menu
Help: Displays help on the current program in your default company browser
Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler
Add to Batch: Enables you to add this report to a report group for running at a later point
