Idle Time Analysis

This report runs through the Workshop Loading clocking file. Clockings are shown for idle clockings only because WIP number clockings are excluded.

By default the report is displayed, and is sorted by clock code or technician, according to the selected prompt. When the report is run, you are also given the option to print the report or output the report to an HTML directory.

The following details are summarised on the report:

  1. Date and time clocked in
  2. Date and time clocked out
  3. Hours taken
  4. Adjust mode

To produce an idle time analysis report:

  1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Workshop loading option and Company you require.

    The WORKSHOP LOADING menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Reports & enquiries option.

    The WL REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.

  3. Select the Idle Time Analysis option.

    The Idle Time Analysis form is displayed.

  4. Complete the form and click OK.

    The report is compiled and output in the selected format.

Idle Time Analysis Form

This form is displayed when you select the Holiday Report option from the WL REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu. From this form you can produce an idle time report.

Output type: Allows you to specify the format in which the report is produced. Select one of the following options from the drop-down menu:

  1. Print: Prints the report to the currently selected printer.
  2. HTML: Outputs the report to file in Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) format.
  3. Display: Displays the report. This is the default.

From Date: The first date in the range.

To Date: The last date in the range.

Tip: Click the Ellipsis button to display an electronic calendar.

Select one of the following radio buttons to determine whether the report is sorted by clock code or technician:

  1. Sort by Code

  2. Sort by Technician

Totals only?: Do you want to produce a totals-only report? This box is ticked by default.

PUSH BUTTONS:

OK: Outputs the report in the selected format.

Cancel: Returns you to the SM REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.

Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.

Schedule: Displays the Timed Operations scheduler. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.

Add to batch: Displays an Add report to batch form in which a report may be batched for printing in a report group. This button is not enabled when the output type is set to Display.
