The WL REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed when you select the Reports & enquires option from the WORKSHOP LOADING menu. From this menu, you can access the standard Workshop Loading programs for the Workshop Loading module.
Access permissions, called priorities, determine whether a particular menu option is displayed. Each menu option is assigned a priority when the program is installed. Your administrator assigns each user a priority. Any menu option whose priority is higher than your own is omitted from the menu. If you think you need access to a menu option described in this help but it does not appear in the actual menu, check with your administrator.
Report generator: The facilities of the Report Generator sub-system are common to all Rev.8 software applications. These facilities enable you to create your own reports from any combination of the fields on your records. Any combination of system-generated or user-entered fields can be used to provide detailed information in reports which you yourself design. Instead of being forced to depend on a few standard reports, you can select the ones that meet your individual day-to-day requirements, or you can create special reports which solve particular problems as they arise.
Enquiries: Displays the WL ENQUIRIES menu. Some pre-set Ad-hoc enquiries are already set up on this menu. This is the standard utility, as provided within the REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu on every module.
WL Control report: Reports on the Resource hours statistics, Sold hours statistics and the Productive figures. The report also shows the uninvoiced Work-in-Progress values at the beginning and at the end of each day.
Timesheets: Reports on all the technicians' clockings for any particular date range.
WIP report: This is a Work-in-Progress report. It shows work still being undertaken and gives you a value of the labour and parts of each WIP still outstanding.
WL Suspend Clockings: This report is scheduled in Timed Operations to suspend selected technicians' clockings at the end of shift, or clock selected technicians back onto their previous WIP number or record as idle at the start of shift.
Franchise reports: Franchise-specific reports are sometimes made available as part of a standard manufacturer set-up. This option displays a menu containing any reports available to your franchise. By default the menu has no entries.
Holiday Report: Enables you to display the number of hours authorised for technicians' holidays between specified dates.
Idle Time Analysis: Enables you to display all time clocked against idle codes between specified dates.
Time-Management report: A suite of reports that can be run for each company with drill-down capabilities to resource and analysis code level. These can be printed or exported to an Excel spreadsheet.
