The WORKSHOP LOADING menu is displayed when you select the Workshop Loading option from the Autoline Master Menu. The Workshop Loading suite provides a number of set-up, maintenance, and reporting functions, plus additional functionality to the main Service Point-of-Sale program to allow the loading and scheduling system to operate.
Batch Input of Time Sheets: Allows you to enter clockings manually from time sheets
Shifts: Allows you to create, amend, and delete, shift records
Teams: Allows you to create, amend, and delete, team records
Skills: Allows you to create, amend, and delete, skill records
Idle: Allows you to create, amend, and delete, idle records
Adjusted availability reasons: Allows you to create, amend, and delete, adjusted availability reason records
Resources: Allows you to create, amend, and delete, resource records
Workshop Calendar: The Workshop calendar file stores different calendars in order to derive shift patterns for different groups. This calendar can relate to a shift, or a specific resource.
Reload All Jobs: Allows you manually to re-load all unfinished jobs for the next day
Resource Availability: The Resource availability file stores one record for each mechanic, and stores various data describing the mechanic plus attendance information and non-availability periods.
Technician Ability: The Technician ability file stores the efficiency percentage for the technician when doing work in the associated skill group.
Reports and Enquiries: In addition to giving access to the Report Generator and Ad-Hoc Enquiries Menus, certain standard reports, devised using the report generator, are defined and can be accessed, through this menu.
Miscellaneous Options: Allows you to access certain routine maintenance functions. These are set at a lower level of system access level than the System Maintenance functions.
System Maintenance: Allows you to maintain the Workshop Loading system. Many items in the Workshop Loading menu are only available to Priority 9 users and therefore will not appear on your menu. To exercise any changes in these areas, please contact Support personnel.
Holiday planner (If installed) : The Holiday planner will display all your current resources, that have any planned holidays and any authorized absences. The Holiday planner is updated from each of your individual resources calendars when you make any adjustments to it through the Resource availability option in WORKSHOP LOADING MENU or from Edit availability option in the Day form via Point of sale.
Factored times: Enables you to create Factor codes that will be used in Batch Input of Time-Sheets.
