This is where you create the Adjusted Availability reasons when recording the resources absence from work.
What do you want to do?
The Adjusted Availability Reasons form is displayed when you select the Adjusted availability reasons option from the WORKSHOP LOADING MENU. From this form you can create, amend or delete adjusted availability reason records.
Adjusted Availability Reasons details
Order: Displays the order of the records.
Code: The adjusted availability reasons identification code used in the range A-Z or 2-9.
Description: A description of the adjusted availability reason, a 29 character alpha-numeric field.
Shortname: a 5 digit alpha-numeric field.
Push buttons
Exit: Returns you to the WORKSHOP LOADING MENU.
Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
Create: Allows you to create a new adjusted availability reasons record.
Amend: Allows you to amend an adjusted availability reasons record.
Delete: Allows you to delete an adjusted availability reasons record.
Sequence: Allows you to determine the sequence in which adjusted availability reason records are displayed.
To create an adjusted availability reasons record:
From the WORKSHOP LOADING MENU, select the Adjusted Availability Reasons option.
The Adjusted Availability Reasons form is displayed.
Click the Create button.
The Create form is displayed.
Enter the Code, the Description, the Shortname and select the Type from the drop down menu.
Select a colour to indicate the Adjusted availability reason in the Resource Availability grid.
Click OK.
The record is created.
The Create form is displayed when you click the Create button on the Adjusted Availability Reasons form. From this form you can create a new adjusted availability reasons record completing the data fields and editing the grid.
Field Descriptions
Code Enter an appropriate code in the range A-Z or 2-9.
Description: Enter the description of the adjusted availability reason, a 30 character alpha-numeric field.
Shortname: Enter the shortname, a 5 character alpha-numeric field.
Type: Select one of the following types:
+ More availability
This is generally used for planned overtime to increase hours available for selected technician.
Note: This option is available when changing a sector from unable to able. Also please note if users run the WL.K20 suspend report to suspend technicians overnight and have increased the hours available by using the + More availability reason, that this will in turn increase the technicians default end of shift time and the K20 report will set the clock off time to this end of shift time when the tick box on report "use End of Shift" is selected.
Tip: This will also display the technician in the touch screen.
- Less availability
This is generally used for absence like hospital appointments or sickness during Shift reducing capacity hours.
Note: This option is available when changing a sector from able to unable. Also please note if users run the WL.K20 suspend report to suspend technicians overnight and have decreased the hours available by using the - Less availability reason, that this will in turn decrease the technicians default end of shift time and the K20 report will set the clock off time to this end of shift time when the tick box on report "use End of Shift" is selected.
Tip: This will also display the technician in the touch screen.
= Non-productive attendance
This is generally used for non productive on site meetings or training where technicians are paid for attending but have decreased hours to sell.
Note: This is only available on the Adjusted Availability Reason form. Also please note if users run the WL.K20 suspend report to suspend technicians overnight and have decreased the hours available by using the = Non-productive attendance reason, that this will in turn decrease hours capacity but will be ignored by the WL.K20 report and use the default end of shift time.
Colour: Select a colour to indicate the Adjusted Availability reason in the Resource Availability grid.
If required, you can amend an adjusted availability reason record.
To amend an adjusted availability reason record:
From the WORKSHOP LOADING MENU, select the Adjusted Availability Reasons option.
The Adjusted Availability Reasons form is displayed.
Position the cursor over the record that you want to amend, and click the Amend button.
Tip: Alternatively, double-left click the record to select it.
The Amend form is displayed.
Amend the details as required.
When you have completed your amendments, click the OK button.
The changes are saved, you are returned to the Adjusted Availability Reasons form.
The Amend form is displayed when you click the Amend button on the Adjusted Availability Reasons form. From this form you can amend adjusted availability reason records.
Tip: Alternatively, position the cursor over the record that you want to amend, and double-click the left mouse button.

If required, you can delete an adjusted availability reason record.
To delete an adjusted availability reason record:
From the WORKSHOP LOADING MENU, select the Adjusted availability reason option.
The Adjusted Availability Reason form is displayed.
Position the cursor over the record that you want to delete, and click the Delete button.
Tip: Alternatively, double-left click the record to select it.
The Delete form is displayed.
Click the OK button.
The record is deleted, you are returned to the Adjusted Availability Reason form.
The Delete form is displayed when you click the Delete button from the Adjusted Availability Reasons form. From this form you can delete adjusted availability reason records.
Note: You cannot change any of the fields.
