If you use a service code that is flagged to update the MOT, an MOT Report form is displayed when an invoice is produced for MOT work at the appropriate point during the invoicing process, in which all the required details must be entered. For further details, refer to the topic entitled Raising a Service Invoice.
The MOT log may be printed out when needed using the option MOT VT12 report on the SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu. For UK installations, this report mirrors the mandatory MOT VT12 report required from authorised MOT testing stations.
The MOT Report form is displayed when an invoice is produced for MOT work and the service code is flagged to update the MOT. Complete the form and click OK to update the MOT log.
