This form is part of the sequence of forms for creating a used vehicle quotation. See the Used Vehicles section for instructions and general tips on this process.
The available vehicles matching the criteria selected on the previous form are displayed, together with basic information for each vehicle as described below. Only one vehicle can be selected by clicking the corresponding line. If using VSB mode, three extra lines are displayed at the bottom of the vehicle list. These are Refine search criteria, which displays the previous search form, allowing narrow or broader searches to be run, Custom Entry Vehicle for manually entering a vehicle, and Change to New vehicles.
Sale Code: This field contains two pieces of information, disguised as a sale code. The figure after the P is the profit available for the vehicle, calculated by subtracting the cost price from the selling price. The figure after the D is the number of days the vehicle has been in stock and d for a future date.
Note: The Sale code is only visible in Back office mode. For example, P002500/D0012 indicates a profit of 2500 pounds and the vehicle has been in stock for 12 days. P002500/d3006 would indicate a profit of 2500 pounds and the vehicle is due into stock on June 30th.
Reg no: Vehicle registration number.
DIS: Days in stock.
Note: DIS is only available if it is installed. An example DIS of 0012 indicates the vehicle has been in stock for 12 days. Any vehicles with a future or no purchase date are displayed as 0000.
Description: Vehicle description.
Locn: Stock location of the vehicle.
CCs: Engine size in cubic centimetres.
F: Fuel type, (P)etrol, (D)iesel, and so on.
T: Transmission.
Yr: Year in which the vehicle was first registered.
V: Contains a tick if a vehicle is VAT qualifying.
Colour: Colour description.
Price: Vehicle price. Whether this is displayed depends on a setting in Salesperson settings. It is often unavailable because calculating prices can delay the appearance of this form if the number of vehicles is large.
S: Stock code displays the progress status of the vehicle. For example, 5 = free stock in Marketing Vehicle Stocking and A = Adopted when using Vehicle Stockbooks.
PrU: Previous usage reference, for example, demonstrator, taxi, and so on. Not displayed in MKV mode.
If pictures have been set up (for the selected model and/or model variants in the Franchise Data module) they are displayed in the left-hand pane, with larger views available by right-clicking the vehicle line.
