The Compose message form form is displayed when you click the Quickmail button on the Warranty claim form. From this form you can send an E-Mail about the claim to another user or users.
To: This is the person, or group, to whom the message will be sent. Enter the user ID.
CC: A message can also be copied to another user. Enter the user ID.
Subject: The subject is automatically entered by the system in the format Ford warranty claim followed by the claim number/work item number.
Message: The system automatically compiles the claim details (WIP number, Registration number and VIN number) and enters them into the body of the message. You can type in additional text as required.
PUSH BUTTONS
Cancel: Returns you to the Warranty claim form without saving or sending the message.
Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
Send: Sends the completed message.
Save: This saves the message, stores it in the out-tray, allowing you to send the message at a later date or time.
