FORD WARRANTY Menu

When you invoice a WIP to a warranty account, there is a requirement to manage a claim record until such a time as the claim is paid/rejected by the manufacturer.

From the FORD WARRANTY menu, you can carry out maintenance of warranty claims and supporting records, and transfer claims to the Ford GWE system. The FORD WARRANTY menu is displayed when you select the Warranty menu option from the FORD OPERATIONS menu.

Claims maintenance: Allows you to display and amend claims compiled within POS, send a quickmail about a claim, transfer claims to the Ford GWE system and delete (purge) records from the Autoline system.

Visit repair types: Visit repair types are related to the repair record types that you select on invoicing. This option gives you access to the Visit repair types in order to carry out any maintenance requested by Ford.

Repair record types: You are requested for a repair record type when you invoice a warranty job. This option gives you access to the Repair record types in order to carry out any maintenance requested by Ford.

Warranty parameters: Allows you to maintain the Ford warranty parameters.
