PURPOSE:
To check for N80, N81, N82 notifications from the Volvo DSP system for exceptions and to action any found on the Autoline system before attempting to auto-receive the parts.
N80: Notifies dealer of any superseded parts (flagged S)
N81: Notifies dealer of any quantity adjustments - for example: bulk packs, cancelled lines (flagged T)
N82: Notifies dealer of any back orders (flagged B)
FREQUENCY:
Check daily for, and action, any exceptions notified.
PROCESS:
View the status of parts on the order. This displays any orders with exceptions.
Action exceptions on the Autoline system prior to auto-receiving the parts.
CONSEQUENCES IF NOT DONE:
Auto-receipt of orders will not work correctly.
Superseded parts cannot be delivered (no purchase order will exist on the Autoline system).
