PURPOSE:
To check the automatic order process is functioning correctly, the D40 is being transmitted and the resulting N40 automatic order is present.
FREQUENCY:
Check should be made daily.
Note: There will be no N40 the first day after the weekend or the day after bank holidays.
PROCESS:
Display the N40 automatic order. (You cannot alter or amend an N40 order). You should see a stock order number made up from the following four elements, which is always flagged as P (Processed):
Purchase order number generated by Autoline
Dealer reference
Order type (always A, Automatic)
The date the stock order is processed on the Autoline system
Note: If no automatic order is present and no error message has been advised by MS Support via the DSP mail group or by Volvo via an e-mail memo, contact MS Support on 0845 3031300.
CONSEQUENCES IF NOT DONE:
DSP could duplicate missing orders if not viewed by the dealer.
Stock runs out if orders are not produced.
Purchase orders are not created on the Autoline system.
