Viewing and Restoring Changes

The View/restore-changes routine allows you to view a list of the vehicles updated and to restore individual vehicle records if the new details are incorrect.

All vehicle records that have been changed are displayed (in the order they were created on the marketing database), together with the following information:

  • The date the vehicle record was updated

  • Magic Number

  • Registration Number

  • Service Variant Code

  • Chassis Number

    • To view/restore records:

    1. From the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS menu, select the Vehicle load option.

      The VOLVO VEHICLE LOAD menu is displayed.

    2. Select the Convert vehicle data option.

      The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company.

    3. Select the SO company and click OK.

      The Volvo Vehicle Load form is displayed.

    4. From the File menu, select the View/Restore changes option.

      The View/Restore tab is displayed showing all the vehicle records updated.

    5. Select the vehicle records that you want to restore.

      Tip: Double-click a record to select or deselect it.

    6. Click the Restore button.

      The following message is displayed:

      Restore selected items?

    7. Click the Continue button.

      A further message is displayed:

      Restore complete

    8. Click OK.

      You are returned to the Volvo Vehicle load form.
