There is no minimum requirement for using the Retrieve Vehicle Information Form in the MS module as long as you have the necessary access-rights.

To use the Instant inquiry tool the minimum requirement is:

• Service Point of Sale form

  1. The MS company field on this form must contain the value 00 Global data or MB Mercedes-Benz.

  2. In addition, a valid selected Franchise code for MB or smart vehicles, which is checked via the MS company code field of Franchise Details in the Franchise data module. The MS company field must contain MB.

• Extended Vehicle Details form (Mercedes-Benz)

  A valid selected Franchise code for MB or smart vehicles, which is checked via the MS company code field of Franchise Details in the Franchise data module. The MS company field must contain MB.

• Extended Vehicle Details form (Standard)

  The instant inquiry tool is always available for the Extended Vehicle Details form (Standard).

The Franchise is containing a valid value for MB or smart vehicles, which is checked via the MS company code field of Franchise Details in the Franchise data module. The MS company field must contain MB.

Note: In the Vehicle administration - Trade In link form this option is unavailable. This concerns the Trade-In vehicles.
