Claim Type Maintenance

You can assign a claims to a particular category by using Case Type Codes, which are two-character numeric codes representing different types of claim.

To maintain claim types:

  1. From the GENERAL MOTORS OPERATIONS menu, select the Warranty option.

    The Warranty Menu V1 menu is displayed.

  2. Select the Claim type maintenance option.

    The Case Type Maintenance form is displayed.

Case Type Maintenance Form

This form is displayed when you select the Claim type maintenance option from the Warranty Menu V1 menu. You can use the form to maintain case type codes.

Case Type Code: A two-digit numeric code that represents the category of the claim. For example:

Type of Claim: Description of the claim

PUSH BUTTONS:

Exit: Returns you to the Warranty Menu V1 menu

Help: Displays help on the current program using the default browser
