This option enables you to update individual zones to a Picked Status after all the parts in that zone have been successfully picked. The WIP lines on the Parts Delivery Control Form display each zone status applied to all the parts in that zone. The option also enables you to print a single invoice for the WIP that you are editing.

This form is displayed when you select Parts delivery control from the POINT OF SALE Main Menu, then double-click on a WIP line in the Parts Delivery Control Form's grid. It enables you to update the WIP lines on the Parts Delivery Control Form with items picked; update lines, and change the status of the line from P: Requires picking, to I: Picking completed, Ready for invoice.
The Invoice button is only available when all the relevant zones have their Status columns set to I to indicate that the WIP line on the Parts Delivery Control form's grid can be invoiced. It prints a single invoice for the WIP that you are editing.
Note: An invoice can only be printed if:
each zone line entry in the Edit Order Form is set to I status, and
a delivery note has been printed if the account requires a delivery note.
GRID:
Zone: These are the zone areas set up in Stock Management. Each bin location is allocated a zone linked to a specified picking-slip printer.
S: This value is the lowest, overall status of the zone(s). If there is a zone status of P and I status on the same WIP line, the overall status is P: Parts waiting to be picked.
Picker: This represents the warehouse picker that picked the parts from the bins. The picker codes are held in the Pick control pickers file within Point-of-Sale, SO Miscellaneous Options menu.
Picker name: Name of the warehouse picker held in the pickers file
Date: The last date when the parts line was updated
Time: The last time at which the parts line was updated
Updated: This is automatically populated with the User login ID for the terminal used.
Update name: This is automatically populated with the User login name for the terminal used.
PUSH BUTTONS:
Save: Saves the changes made on the Edit Order form to update the WIP line on the Parts Delivery Control form's grid. If all the zones for that WIP have been picked, the line on the Parts Delivery Control form's grid changes to red.
Cancel: Exits the Edit Order form, discarding any changes you have just made on the form.
Parts List: Displays the complete list of parts on the WIP in Point-of-Sale, detailing relevant information. Is for information only.
Reprint: Re-prints a picking slip for the WIP [number]. Is only enabled if none of the zones has been updated from the Picking status.
Invoice: Only available when all the relevant zones have their Status columns set to I to indicate that the WIP line on the Parts Delivery Control form's grid can be invoiced. Prints a single invoice for the WIP that you are editing.

Note: Pressing the ESC key during editing, cancels the update and returns you to the grid on the Parts Delivery Control Form.
To update a zone to denote that all the parts have been picked:
From the POINT OF SALE Main Menu, select the Parts delivery control option.
The Parts Delivery Control form is displayed.
Note: Ensure that the Edit option button is selected. This is within the Double click mode group-box.
Select, and double-click, the WIP line to be edited.
The Edit Order Form is displayed.
Click the required zone on the Edit Order Form, and change the Status from P: Requires picking, to I: Invoiceable/Awaiting invoice. Then press the TAB key.
If an error has been made, the Status I can be changed back to P: Incomplete picking for that zone. This can be completed after you click Save.
Type the picker's identity into the Picker column.
Warning: After you click Save, the Picker field cannot be amended.
The picker codes are held in the Pick control pickers file within Point-of-Sale, SO Miscellaneous Options menu. All other columns are populated automatically.
Click Save to save and update the line on the Parts Delivery Control Form's grid.
The line changes to red if all the zones for that WIP have been picked.
Note: An invoice can only be printed if:

a delivery note has been printed if the account requires a delivery note.
To edit an order prior to printing an invoice and a Deliver document:
From the POINT OF SALE Main Menu, select the Parts delivery control option.
The Parts Delivery Control form is displayed.
Note: This form will usually be the default for the pickers in the warehouse.
Using the picking slips printed on the various zone printers, pick all the parts from the bins relating to a single WIP. Record any Exceptions on the picking note.
To list the WIP in the grid on the Parts Delivery Control Form, type the Wip Number in the Filter group-box of the Parts Delivery Control Form, then do one of the following:
Ensure the Auto refresh check-box is selected and press the TAB key, or
Click Refresh.
The WIP is listed in the grid.
Note: Ensure that the Edit option button is selected. This is within the Double click mode group-box.
Double-click the WIP line.
The Edit Order Form is displayed.
Note: You must deal with Exceptions, such as overs and unders picked, in Point-of-Sale, within the WIP.
Click on each valid Zone, edit the Status from P to I, then press the TAB key.
Type in the Picker ID, then press the TAB key.
The Picker name, Date, and Time, are all populated automatically. If all the zones are updated to I Status, the Invoice button is enabled.
You can do one of the following:
Click Invoice to print an invoice. The header status under the S column on the Parts Delivery Form's grid is changed from P to D.
Click Save to update the data on the Parts Delivery Control Form's grid. The header status under the S column on the Parts Delivery Form's grid is changed from P to I.
You are returned to the Parts Delivery Control Form.
