For information only, a parts list form is accessible from the Edit Order Form. From this list, you can identify whether any parts are on order, awaiting receipt; also whether any lines have been deleted within Point-of-Sale. The list is still available after a WIP entry in the Parts Delivery Control Form's grid has been marked as delivered. The Status under the S column is at X; the invoice and Deliver documents have been printed.
To view the Parts information on a WIP:
From the Parts Delivery Control Form, select, and double-click, the required WIP line.
The Edit Order Form is displayed.
Click Parts list.
The parts list For information only form is displayed, containing details on the parts attached to the associated WIP.
This form is displayed when you click Parts list on the Edit Order form. It enables you to identify whether any parts are on order, awaiting receipt; also whether any lines have been deleted within Point-of-Sale.
Edit date: This is initially the Required date held on the WIP line in Point-of-Sale (POS), and is subsequently overwritten with the latest date when the line is updated within the Edit Order Form.
Wipno: This is the WIP number from POS that created the entry in Parts Delivery Control.
Part/description: Part number and description of the part on the customer's order
Qty: Customer's order quantity held on the POS WIP
Value: This is the selling price of the part * quantity.
St: This is the current parts status on the WIP line within POS.
Zone: The warehouse is split into zone areas - for example: A,B,C, and so on. Each bin location is assigned a zone, which has a dedicated picking-slip printer.
Zones, with their assigned printers, are set up in Bin zone maintenance. Bin locations are related to zones and set up in Bin location maintenance. Both options are in the SM Miscellaneous Options menu within Stock Management module.
